Attack of the Kubricks!

Am I too old for toys? Has my mind expanded past the period of imaginary fun and figurines? In some sense, I know I should not be as interested in this new craze as I am…but these “Kubricks” are really starting to get a hold of me! I am sure that most of you have no idea what I am talking about, so let me fill you in. A kubrick is a tiny little toy figure that actually is not meant for kids to play with, they are made for the entertainment of artsy adults. When it comes down to it, they are really just over-priced collectables. At first glance, I thought that they were really pointless and boring but the more I searched for them the more I fell in love. These miniature toys are modeled after characters in movies, cartoons, comics and just about every famous character you can think of! The kubricks are actually sort of hard to find because most of the cool ones are pretty rare. To add to this frustration, when you do eventually find the ones that you are looking for- the price alone is enough to knock you off your feet. Some of my favorite kubricks thus far include the ones resembling the cast of Reservoir Dogs, the Nightmare Before Christmas, The Muppets, Back to the Future, and of course I have to include all of the different Disney sets. So I urge you all to go out and research more about these addicting little kubricks to find some that you can fall in love with just as I have!
