WarisStrange

War is quite an interesting topic. Nobody seems to like it that much, yet there always seems to be some sort of war occuring. The wars that are happening at any particular point do not necessarily need to be between one nation and another. Cultural wars and other wars of the social types could also be goin on. Usually the most commonly perceived type of war is that of two nations over some sort of dispute. Most wars seem to be caused over something stupid such as a territorial dispute, economics, and other various events. No matter what the event, protestors and people against the war always exist. Protestors never go away, but should they? Many people that strongly (blindly) support the government's decisions think these people should go away. One great ironic part of America's current war is the way many people in the country view this. For the most part, people that support Bush are more on the religious side because he is strongly opposed to abortion. These same people also support the war in Iraq that Bush has started. Many of these pro-Bush people back the war very strongly, but are that strongly opposed to abortion. They are opposed to abortion because it is killing, but isn't the war also killing? The last I knew men, women, and children were suffering death from this conflict. The war the United States is in now is pretty much a cultural war. I think that many wars are started because of a difference in culture. Countries think that their ways are the right ones and want to impose these ways on anyone else who refuses to live by them. I would think that after further examination of a war and its causes one would find out that it was not simply just because of oil, that it was something more. Fighting over possessions just doesn't seem logical and the reasons of war must have deeper roots. Maybe they don't and the causes are simply pointless, I guess I will have to try and figure that out.
